These enable families to reconnect with previous program friends in a safe and fun environment. It’s also a great opportunity for families who have not yet been on a Wombat’s Wish Weekend Grief Program to meet our team, other families, and get to know our organisation.

Previous Family Day activities have included mini-golf, adventure mazes, arcade games, bowling, climbing, jumping at Airoworld or Bounce, planting sessions and our annual Wombat’s Wish Christmas Party. We’ve even had special visitors, including Freeman the Wombat, our Ambassadors Emily Mannix (Melbourne Vixens), Tom Hawkins (Geelong Cats), and even Santa Claus!

All Family Day events are held free of charge to the families, and are advertised via our Facebook, Instagram, quarterly newsletter and email.
