Anzac Day
On ANZAC Day, 25th April 2025, our School Captains attended the Ballan March and Cenotaph Service. Tilman and Hannah were invited to speak and share their knowledge about the hardships endured by Australian Army Nurses as they established a military hospital and treated wounded soldiers from Gallipoli on the Greek island of Lemnos.
Our School Captains spoke very well and represented the school with pride. They also laid a wreath on behalf of the school.
The day was wet, surrounded by thunder and lightning - a stark reminder of what we can barely imagine to be the conditions that the soldiers and nurses faced.
We were well represented in the ANZAC March, with many students and families participating. Thank you to our families and community for coming along on the day.
